Harrow Flint is built around a simple idea: the frame is made in Australia, but the heart of the canvas is the linen. We use Belgian linen because it is regarded as some of the finest quality available for serious painting surfaces.
That linen is then prepared by hand using museum-grade gesso methods that have been handed down through generations. The process is slow, tactile, and rooted in traditional knowledge rather than industrial shortcuts.
The result is a canvas for painters who care about the quality beneath the paint: the timber support, the linen surface, and the ground that shapes how every mark is received.
